On Call to Support You – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Live life at a pace you feel comfortable with. On Call to Support You – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Morven House is a former manor house, now a countryside care home designed to meet the needs of our residents.

We welcome elderly residents (aged 65+) with varying health conditions, including advanced and terminal illnesses.

From assisted living and mobility support to dementia and end-of-life care, our dedicated care team is here for you every day of the year.

Before we create a personalised care plan, every resident must undergo a pre-assessment with our Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager.

However, we understand that some prospective residents may not be able to attend due to health reasons. In such cases, we will visit them at home or in the hospital.

While many residents enjoy the social aspects of life at Morven House, we also respect the privacy of those who prefer a quieter, more private way of life.

We proudly care for elderly residents (aged 65 and over).

Briefing the care team and preparing your room

We want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive at Morven House.

The Registered Care Manager or Deputy Manager will oversee the following preparations:

Pre-Admission Checks
Before a new resident arrives, the most senior staff member on duty will ensure all pre-admission requirements are met. It is important to us that everything is in place and ready. Pre-admission checks are based on professional care home standards, our in-house residential care policies, and the tailored care plan created during the pre-assessment.

Care Team Briefing Process
The care team at Morven House is briefed about the arrival of each new resident and what is required to ensure their care plan is managed efficiently. We do everything necessary to ensure you arrive at a friendly, familiar place that feels like home.

Room Preparation
Arrive at a beautifully clean, freshly aired room tailored to your needs, and with all your belongings neatly positioned with care. All private rooms are deeply cleaned and set with spotlessly clean bed linen and towels.

Safety and Quality Assurance

We pay close attention to the details of the care plan, including strategically placed mobility aids and assistive devices as agreed.

We continuously monitor all aspects of our residents’ safety at Morven House.
