If dental issues are left untreated, residents could find themselves dealing with a multitude of associated health issues that could negatively impact both physical and mental well-being.

Eye health care

Eyecare is available by our trusted optician, who visits regularly to conduct eye health check-ups, preventing undiagnosed vision issues from developing, such as cataracts or glaucoma.

When left untreated, these can lead to further complications and a rapid decline in mental health.

Hairdressing

Seeing the hair stylist is one of the weekly highlights for some of our residents at Homelands! While serving as the ultimate confidence booster, it also leaves them feeling relaxed and pampered. Based on the feedback we receive from residents, getting their hair done regularly also increases their willingness to engage in social and recreational events, leading to a more active and happier lifestyle in general.

Chiropody

Foot health is crucial for maintaining physical strength, mobility, mental health and overall comfort. Our visiting chiropodist regularly assesses residents' foot health at Homelands, identifying issues early and providing necessary treatments to prevent further complications.

Social activities and entertainment

While we encourage staying active and socially engaged, we also respect the privacy of those who prefer a quieter way of life. At Homelands, we welcome residents and their families to our quarterly meetings.

Through their feedback and suggestions, we get everything we need to deliver the activities and events our residents want.

At Homelands, you no longer need to worry about the pressures of everyday life. Focus on what you love to do and do more! We enjoy watching residents pursue their hobbies and interests, such as gardening, painting, embroidery and writing. Others love to gather socially and go to the local pub with friends.
